Performance & Continuous Improvement Specialist

About the Role:

We have a current opening for a Performance & Continuous Improvement (SSP) Specialist and are actively reviewing applications.

1.    The Performance & Continuous Improvement (SSP) Specialist function is responsible for deploying, coaching, and overseeing the successful adoption of FOX (Ferrero Operational Excellence) continuous improvement programs in the plant including: AM (Autonomous Maintenance), Kaizen, SMED, 5S, and RCA (Root-Cause-Analysis).  In addition, the function is responsible for deploying digital solutions (Smart Factory) within the plant and providing project management support on strategic projects when needed.
2.    The role of the Performance & Continuous Improvement (SSP) Specialist is to partner with the production and maintenance teams in analyzing losses and leading projects to improve the performance of the production unit (safety, food safety/quality, OEE/scrap).  The SSP Specialist must influence the various plant departments, through effective change management and collaboration, the effective deployment and sustainability of FOX and digital tools at the shopfloor.  The SSP Specialist should conduct training and coaching sessions to enhance continuous improvement competency and project management skills throughout the plant and when necessary, back-up the SSP Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate workshops using FOX tools including: Autonomous Maintenance, 5S, Kobetsu Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, SMED, and others.
  • Support the production teams in improving the SQCDME results (Safety, Quality, Costs, Delivery, Motivation and Environment) and implementing FOX tools to improve OEE, OAE, and scrap. 
  • Support the production manager in the cascading, effective communication, and training organization of FOX initiatives in production.
  • Manage plant cross-functional projects using effective coordination, organization, and change management.
  • Lead implementation of digital applications linked to Smart Factory program. 
  • Provide periodical reports of plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and FOX activities.  

About You:

  •  Post Diploma / Bachelor Degree
  • 4-7 years of experience in a face-paced manufacturing setting
  •  Experience leading continuous improvement / LEAN projects.
  • Experience managing change in an industrial setting
  • Strong proficiency with computers and tablet/phone-based applications

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $121,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
