About the Role:

This position is a night shift 12-hr position working 7pm – 7am.  This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning/sanitation duties and responsibilities in the plant.   

Main Responsibilities:

• Performs cleaning and sanitation activities as determined by the Master Sanitation Schedule
• Responsible to keep accurate written records and complete reports
• Works at heights to plant ceiling and exterior silos
• Works within enclosed and/or confined spaces, must be able to obtain a Confined Space Authorized Certification
• Works in temperature extremes, indoors and outdoors.
• Operates several types of powered industrial equipment.
• Performs tasks as determined by the rodent and insect control schedules.
• Performs sanitation audits or inspections as assigned
• Responsible to disassemble and reassemble equipment for required cleanings.
• Completes tasks assigned as needed.

Who we are looking for:

The ideal candidate for this role will have 3+ years’ experience working in sanitation in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.  Someone with the ability to accomplish most tasks with minimal supervision, that is self-directed and has proven leadership skills with working with employees and contractors.  A strong attention to detail and a safety mindset is critical in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years of forklift experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Experience with SAP
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
