About the Role:

Are you seeking a dynamic role with significant responsibility and a wide scope of impact? As a Modern Trade Manager- North East, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in your assigned area, enhancing brand visibility, and leading customer business plans within your assigned territory. You will collaborate closely with Field Modern Trade Team, Key Account Managers  and Trade Marketing to achieve Ferrero's strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Achieve sales and volume targets in your assigned sector, aligned with Ferrero's strategy.

    Increase Brand Visibility: Ensure product prominence on store shelves through effective merchandising and promotions.

    Customer Business Planning: Negotiate, implement, and monitor Customer Business Plans to align with company goals.

    Trade Investment Management: Plan and optimize trade investments with key customers for maximum ROI and sustainable growth.

    Promotion Negotiation: Collaborate with Trade Marketing to negotiate and execute additional promotional activities.

    Performance Analysis: Analyze customer data, identify growth opportunities, and recommend strategies to drive improvements.

    Team Management: Lead a team of merchandisers, ensuring effective resource use and performance.

    Competitive Monitoring: Track competitor activities and market trends, sharing key insights with management.

    Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on sales, customer engagement, and promotional activities.

Who we are looking for:

  • Educational Background:
    A university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, or Sales).
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in the FMCG sector, preferably within the chocolate or confectionery industry.
  • Skills and Qualities:
    • Results-oriented with a proven track record of driving sales growth.
    • Charismatic leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and motivate teams.
    • Highly responsive, with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
    • Strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
