Supply Chain Deployment Planner - Gulf & Arab Countries
About the Role:
The Supply Chain Deployment Planner oversees shipment planning, production requests, monitors plant inventory, and manages the distribution of finished goods to maximize service level and product freshness. The role is also responsible for optimizing inventory across market warehouses and ensuring efficient product availability, while balancing shortages and surpluses.
The position covers supply planning requirements across multiple markets including Hub Dubai, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Yemen.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for end-to-end supply and shipment planning, including managing shipment plans with factories and Hub Dubai, tracking planned vs. shipped volumes, monitoring vessel routing, and comparing actual production vs. planned volumes, while proactively identifying deviations and communicating supply risks.
You will lead inventory optimization and freshness management by monitoring plant and market inventory levels, managing safety stock, and addressing risks related to surplus, shortages, and aging stock through corrective actions and optimized stock allocation across warehouses.
In distribution and logistics execution, you will be closely tracking shipment performance, highlighting delays or execution gaps, accelerating stock flow from factories to markets, and contributing to the achievement of monthly shipping targets, while ensuring equitable stock allocation during supply constraints to protect service levels.
You will also drive supply risk management and KPI performance monitoring, identifying short- and long-term risks, maintaining risk logs with mitigation actions, and improving performance across key metrics such as production adherence, shipment on-time performance, stock coverage, service level, freshness, and hub performance.
You will work in strong cross-functional collaboration with demand planning, marketing, factory planning, exports, logistics partners, and markets to ensure forecast alignment, manage demand volatility, and support effective execution. You will also lead the Hub Dubai review meeting, aligning stakeholders on supply status, risks, and actions.
About You:
The preferred candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree, ideally in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Possesses strong analytical and coding skills suited to a highly data-driven environment. The role requires 3–5 years of experience in supply or deployment planning, strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively across multiple markets. Proficiency in English is required, and experience in the Gulf region is an advantage.
