About the Role:

This role drives the end-to-end POSM (Point of Sale Materials) process, from concept creation and sourcing to implementation tracking and budget control, ensuring impactful retail visibility across the Gulf region. The position collaborates with Marketing, Sales, and Procurement teams, Supply Chain and Local Trade Marketing combining creative thinking with operational excellence to bring brand activations/strategies to life in the market. An important function of this role is to be the focal point & connection between suppliers, marketing and local trade marketing and sales.

In this role, you will be exposed to Regional Trade Marketing operations, have hands-on involvement in strategic planning and execution for retail visibility. You will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and Finance, while balancing a good blend of creative concept development and analytical budget management. Finally, you will also have high visibility and understanding on shopper experiences and sales performances within the region.

Main Responsibilities:

POSM Strategy & Planning:

As part of the role, you will develop impactful POSM concepts and solutions for OOS activities and visibility projects. You will create planograms and merchandising guideline for OOS projects, as well as build and maintain the regional POSM calendar, in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Local trade Marketing teams.

POSM Sourcing:

You will source POSM, including permanent visibility projects, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and creativity. While sourcing, you are to manage suppliers in line with GRC and internal audit requirements, prepare POSM development briefs for suppliers based on inputs from local TM/DTR, obtain quotations based on briefs, manage activities within approved budgets, and create purchase requisitions, and test and approve POSM display quality and material specifications.

POSM Tracking & Management:

You will coordinate shipments to countries and warehouses, prepare post-campaign reports, summarizing performance, learning, and recommendations for future improvements, as well as coordinate fridge/freezer placements and consolidate tracking at a regional level.

POSM Budget Management:

You will manage budgets by preparing and managing the regional Annual POSM budget (A&P) including visibility plans in alignment with brand and sales activity calendar. Also, you will manage tracking and reporting on budget performance to all stakeholders, including Finance and Marketing, on a monthly basis.

We are looking for someone with a Bachelors' degree in Business or any relevant field. Has 2-4 years' experience in FMCG within the Gulf (GCC) region; having a Procurement background is a plus. You are experienced and have deep knowledge in POSM, as well as Project Management, Budget Management, Shopper Marketing, Sales Fundamentals, and Marketing Basic skills. Skilled in Excel and Powerpoint and having had exposure in SAP Procurement end-to-end process is a plus.
