About the Role:

For our Supply Chain Department, we are looking for a Düzce-based Customs Specialist who will report to the HCo Türkiye Export & Customs Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Manage customs processes through customs brokers, ensuring their performance meets defined lead time targets
•    Oversee all import customs operations, verifying that all documentation complies with import policies and laws
•    Monitor ship cut-off dates and deadlines for Bill of Lading instructions and Customs Declaration procedures
•    Prepare departmental reports, track product invoices, and share necessary documents with customs brokers, warehouses, and logistics partners
•    Create purchase orders via the SAP system and process customs brokers’ invoices promptly, informing the accounting department
•    Provide ideas and insights for process optimization and cost savings
•    Follow up on project execution related to process optimization and storage strategy
•    Ensure compliance with ISO, MICO, HACCP, Environmental, and Safety standards, in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices
•    Complete and finalize TBS and GGBS applications for lots with invoiced transactions to the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture
 

Who we are looking for:

•    Bachelor’s degree
•    Preferably +5 years of experience
•    Strong planning and communication skills
•    Decision-making and problem-solving abilities
•    Project management skills and a continuous improvement mindset
•    Knowledge of SAP and MS Office
•    Proficiency in English at an intermediate level is preferred
