We are seeking a Packaging Auditor to join an international food company, responsible for auditing and overseeing packaging suppliers across North America. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards by conducting supplier audits, evaluating performance, and identifying risks within packaging materials and processes. The successful candidate will manage and follow up on non-conformities, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions, while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The position requires excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills to drive continuous improvement and uphold high-quality standards for the packaging.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, Typical business hours
- Hybrid- 3 Days in Office, 2 Days Remote
- This role requires the ability to travel 40-50% across North America
Main Responsibilities:
• Lead packaging manufacturing site audits, including planning, execution, and follow-up activities.
• To manage and resolve packaging-related issues (NCs and CAPAs), through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, to effectively address packaging challenges
About You:
Business Experience:
• 8+ years of Packaging experience
• Direct experience with Packaging regulations in North America (FDA & CFIA)
• Experience in leading packaging audits (auditor certification preferred)
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field (e.g., Chemical engineer)
• Lead Auditor certification in (FSSC, BRC-GS ; SQF)
• PCQI Certification
Competencies:
• Capacity to deliver results under minimal supervision
• Proactive with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Availability to travel within USA and Canada
• Able to work with diverse teams across different cultures
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
• Team player

The base salary range for this position is $96,000- $154,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
