Assistant Brand Manager - Wholesale Channel

The Assistant Brand Manager will actively contribute in formulating the brand’s short and long-term marketing objectives and strategies across FDM and Club wholesale channels. The role will be accountable for developing and executing a solid go-to-market (360) plan, as well as managing communication with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency and execution and provide training on related initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leverage market and brand analysis to assist Brand Management in formulating brand strategy within a fast-moving consumer packaged goods category
  • Constantly monitor and track brand performance and initiatives and provide routine performance updates for Brand Team and Sr. Leadership
  • Support innovation/product development with category analysis and consumer insights
  • Support development of consumer activation plans for key retailer accounts and manage execution
  • Prepare and create engaging, meaningful and persuasive presentations
  • Understand and interpret qualitative and quantitative research to inform product decision-making
  • Utilize strong project management skills to navigate from the initial planning stage to execution and final assessment, achieving brand objectives and goals
  • Engage and partner with Trade Marketing, Sales, Category Management, Product Development, and Supply Chain to assist in the planning and execution of new initiatives
  • Efficiently manage relationships and projects with external agencies (e.g.  shopper marketing, trade shows, research agencies, etc.), delivering required output while minimizing cost
  • Partner with internal design team to manage the creative development process of brand assets required for marketing campaigns

Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Keen understanding and ability to develop marketing objectives and strategies
  • Experience working with consumer data; i.e. IRI, Nielsen
  • Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Able to prioritize daily demands and multi-task across multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
  • An adaptable, creative thinker and problem solver, able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to collaboratively and effectively interact and work with various functional departments
