About the Role:
As the Category Finance Manager, you will be the primary finance business partner for our specialty cookies which are comprised of two distinct and separate businesses: Little Brownie Bakers (LBB) and Fine Biscuits. This position is responsible for the comprehensive financial support across the entire P&L and managing the budgets/planning processes for LBB and Fine Biscuits, working with business partners to develop assumptions and the P&L while coordinating with internal finance stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
• Key business partner to LBB and Fine Biscuits leadership and Brand Managers, supporting strategic decision making through financial analysis, actionable insights and thought leadership
• Drive and maintain net revenue and profitability goals for brands and channels ensuring support of overall company financial and strategic goals
• Manage the full P&L for LBB and Fine Biscuits inclusive of ensuring control, reporting and analysis of expenses within Advertising and Promotion and SG&A and coordinating cost sharing among different business entities
• Manage budget/forecasting activities and annual/monthly reviews of business performance with clear communication of growth drivers, risks, and opportunities
• Prepare and present financial results to direct business partners (VP Level) as well as Senior leadership at Ferrero USA and the Family Office (Fine Biscuits)
• Lead financial analysis for commercialization projects in collaboration with the marketing and other cross-functional business partners
• Ensure proper controls and oversight on manual Little Brownie Baker processes
• Co-manage revenue recognition for Fine Biscuit drop ship customers
Who we are looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of previous related work experience.
• Demonstrated strong financial, operational and business acumen
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable solutions
• Effective communication, organization, and people skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and business partners
• Knowledge of financial and management accounting
• Knowledge of ERP and reporting systems
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)
• CPG/FMCG experience preferred
Compensation Data
The base salary range for this position is $94,896 - $126,528 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
