About the Role:

Ferrero North America – National Account Manager (Alternative Accounts)
• Day to day contact for the Customer relationships within the Alternative Accounts
• Undertake Buyer / Category / VP level engagement across the core Customer & Broker base
• Implement annual JBP’s and Long Lead Innovation meetings spanning 3Y Sales horizons
• Serve as the “Commercial” subject matter expert for Alternative Accounts portfolio
• Develop sales Account strategies and translate them into Distribution, Shelving, Pricing and Merchandising objectives
• Support key cross-functional internal relationships, including Category Management, Trade Marketing, Sales Operations and Sales Forecasting

Main Responsibilities:
  • Engage with marketing team to develop and align on innovation for FUSA / FMC / Fannie May for Alternative channels and Fannie May Business
  • Focus  within the premium chocolate category in the U.S market with the intent to Roll / extend the brand out nationally
  • Rollout and execution of Fannie May nationally and build this business to a 10 year vision of a $500mm to $1 billion dollar business
  • Act as the leader of driving strategy on Fannie May business
  • Managing strategic customer plans for the following   – Walmart  / Costco/ Albertsons / Divisions of Kroger / Target / Walgreens / CVS (Fannie May only )
  • Conduct JBP / planning with top 5 customers – Fannie May and Alternative channels
  • Lead all Business reviews monthly with CEO of North America and regional board team
  • Managing and leading 3 Brokers – BBI, Carlen Obrien
  • Act as the leader of driving strategy on Alternative Channel to include FUSA and the FMC business
  • Engage with marketing team to develop and align on innovation for FUSA / FMC / Fannie May for Alternative channels and Fannie May Business
  • Lead all Broker business reviews with Fannie May marketing and sales teams
  • Develop innovation for the vending and micro market channels
Who we are looking for:

• Minimum 10 years experience required
• Account Management, Merchandising, and/or Category Management experience, across N. America in a CPG setting
• Multi-channel CPG experience preferred (C-store, Mass, Grocery, Dollar, e-Comm & Value)
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Commercially astute with a strong business sense and excellent problem solving / analytical skills
