About the Role:

You’ve always loved it—now be part of it! Ferrero’s Cookies team is looking for our next Associate Brand Manager supporting the iconic Keebler E.L. Fudge, Wafer, and Fudge Sticks brands.

 

In this role, you’ll monitor, assess, and drive sub-brand performance in the marketplace to ensure delivery against budget goals. You’ll help shape brand growth strategies and contribute to competitive category/channel analysis, consumer research, and marketing programs that fuel business success.

 

We’re looking for someone with strong analytical skills, a sharp eye for detail, and solid project management experience. Your understanding of the retail trade structure—across all classes of trade—will be key to unlocking new channel opportunities and deepening business insights. This Hybrid role is based in our Chicago, IL office.

Main Responsibilities:

Category Insights & Consumer Understanding: 
•    Provides routine sub-brands performance updates, identify, and implement actionable insights that drive business objectives and strategy. 
•    In-depth market and brand analysis to assist in formulating brand strategy within fast-moving consumer packaged goods category. 
•    Capacity to understand and interpret qualitative and quantitative research for business purposes and strategy development. 

 

Business & Financial Management: 
•    Possesses solid project management skills from planning stage to execution and final assessment to achieve brand objectives and goals.
•    Leverages foundational business understanding to identify short-term business opportunities.
•    Executes key activities and tactics that feed into annual marketing plan  
•    Support the  development and execution of the PS3 for respective categories.
•    Ability to lead Cross-functional teams from R&D, Finance, Trade marketing, Sales, Operations and Supply Chain to assist in the planning, commercialization, and execution of new initiatives. 
•    Understands internal processes and seeks out opportunities for continuous improvement including obsolescence waste reduction and sku rationalization.
•    Prepares and creates engaging, meaningful, and persuasive presentations. 
•    Responsible for building volume forecast in support of S&OP 
•    Support brand lead with Keebler brand budget 

 

Communication & Agency Management: 
•    Support the execution of communication activities to engage consumers and shoppers when and where they are most receptive. 
•    Leads the development of shopper consumer activation plans and manage execution. 
•    Understands the shopper path-to-purchase (Omni-Commerce) to help assess and strengthen brand-building shopper programs. 
•    Reinforces agency relationship with assistance on tactical and executional needs

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of professional experience, including 1–3 years in CPG brand marketing
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in consumer data tools (e.g., IRI, Nielsen)
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Collaborative team player with cross-functional experience
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and passion for brand building
  • Culturally adaptable and globally minded
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); SAP a plus
  • Exposure to P&L management is a bonus

Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $84,084 - $112,111 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on exepreicne, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
