Plant Logistics - Warehouse Leader & Supply Chain Developer HCo
About the Role:
For our Hazelnut Company in Caprarola (VT) we are currently looking for a Plant Logistics - Warehouse Leader & Supply Chain Developer. Reporting both to the Hco Italy Supply Chain Manager and to Hco Industrial Manager, the Plant Logistics - Warehouse Leader & Supply Chain Developer ensure the operating management of the stock linked to plant replenishment flows (e.g. logistics activities, customs, stock monitoring, inventory count, input of results in IT systems and warehouse quality activities) overseeing physical logistic flow within the plant.
Main Responsibilities:
As Plant Logistics - Warehouse Leader & Supply Chain Developer, you will be responsible for managing plant flows and ensuring that materials move efficiently from warehouses to production lines. You will plan and coordinate spaces, resources, and deliveries to maximize service levels for the Production Units (UGP) while complying with all health and safety standards. Part of your responsibilities will be to optimize raw materials, packaging, and finished product flows, monitor KPIs to maintain full visibility over replenishment processes, and actively contribute to Plant governance. You will also ensure a smooth transportation connection between the plant and the lines, overseeing the timely movement of goods from production areas to warehouses and vice versa. Your daily activities will rely on SAP modules such as MM, PP, WM/EWM and HR to support material flow, production planning, and inventory control.
You will also play a key role in warehouse management, where you will ensure accurate inventory execution and documentation and provide input for any corrective actions. You will oversee stock levels for packaging, raw materials and semi-finished goods, develop effective operating methods to maintain adequate material availability, and support the definition and negotiation of warehouse service agreements. Part of your responsibilities will be to organize warehouse operators’ shifts, coordinate all operational activities across internal warehouses, and collaborate with SSP/Planners on specific optimization initiatives.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will bring solid and consolidated expertise in Supply Chain, along with a strong technical background gained in structured companies. Your academic background in Industrial, Management or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field, will support your ability to navigate both operational and strategic challenges, while your extensive experience leading teams and managing Supply Chain activities will enable you to guide people and processes effectively.
In your daily work, you will rely on strong digital skills, including an expert command of the Windows Office suite.
Fluency in Italian and English will be essential to perform in an international environment, while a willingness to embrace international mobility will further strengthen your fit for the role.
