Plant Logistics

Informazioni sul ruolo:

Reporting both to the Hco Italy Supply Chain Manager and to Hco Industrial Manager, the Plant Logistics ensure the operating management of the stock linked to plant replenishment flows (e.g. logistics activities, customs, stock monitoring, inventory count, input of results in IT systems and warehouse quality activities) overseeing physical logistic flow within the plant.

Principali responsabilità:

PLANT FLOWS MANAGEMENT

  • Coordinates logistic flows starting from Warehouses to lines in order to maximize efficiency and service level to UGP (Unità Gestionale Prodotto), by planning and managing spaces and resources, in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Optimizes the deliveries considering RM, Pack and Finish Products flows
  • Participates in Plant governance
  • Monitors the KPI in order to trace replenishment flows avoiding silos between SC and Industrial
  • Ensures fluid transportation connection between Plant and lines, in terms of deliveries of finished goods to FG warehouse shipments of Raw material and Pack from warehouses to lines
  • Managing material flow, production planning, and inventory control within a manufacturing plant using SAP modules such as: SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP WM/EWM (Warehouse Management), SAP HR (Blue Collar Management) 

 

WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT

  • Ensures a proper inventory execution and documentation, and gives input for possible corrective actions
  • Manages stock level for packaging, raw materials and semi-finished goods in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Develops storage operative working methods to assure an adequate raw materials and packaging materials’ stock level
  • Provides support in the definition and negotiation of agreements and prices for warehouses services
  • Organizes the operators shift within the internal warehouses
  • Coordinate all the operative activities within the plant warehouses
  • Support the SSP/Planner for specific optimization projects

The successful candidate will be an experienced subject matter expert in supply chain. The candidate must be a self-starter and possessing the ability to manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously. You will have strong knowledge of Engineering best practice and be a Technically strong and experienced Engineering Specialist of the function.

 

REQUIRED:

  • Degree in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Management experience in Supply Chain department (5+ years)
  • Experience in personnel management (3+ years)
  • Proven track record of delivering improved equipment / department performance
  • Windows Office Expert
  • Italian mandatory and fluent in English (any other European language is a plus)
  • International mobility
