Accounting Specialist

About the Role:

Ferrero Egypt is seeking to hire an accounting specailist to join our team. The Accounting Specialist will play a key role in supporting the company’s day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reconciliations, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

•Perform daily accounting operations, including posting journal entries and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

•Support the Finance Manager in month-end and year-end closing activities in line with Group deadlines.

•Assist in the preparation of statutory annual accounts and ensure compliance with local regulations.

•Support interim and year-end audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.

•Ensure internal controls are executed and properly documented according to company policies.

•Handle intercompany reconciliations and coordinate with the Finance Shared Services Department.

•Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoice handling.

•Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management.

•Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and provide guidance on financial matters.

What we are looking for:

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. .

-At least 1+ years of relevant experience within Finance field.

-Very good command of English; other European languages are an advantage.

-Solid knowledge of accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.

-IFRS knowledge and Experience in preparation financial statements.

-Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

-SAP, Hyperion Financial Management.

-Previous experience in Big 4 or similar position is a plus.
