About The Role
For our Ferrero Hungary business unit based in Budapest, we are seeking a Key Account Manager for Out of Home channels. who will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing sales development initiatives across assigned clients. Reporting directly into the local commercial leadership, this role is responsible for building and nurturing strong account relationships to translate commercial strategies, sales targets, promotional programs and wider business initiatives into impactful, market‑relevant execution. In this position, you will drive the realization of our commercial objectives by partnering closely with key Accounts, ensuring the effective implementation of strategic plans while identifying opportunities that support sustainable, long‑term business growth.
Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will take ownership of understanding client‑level dynamics and identifying the key growth levers that shape their performance. You will develop tailored client plans that integrate the Country commercial policy with the specific growth opportunities of each partner, while maintaining direct engagement through negotiations, contract preparation, and alignment on the execution of the promotional roadmap. Beyond day‑to‑day collaboration, you will act as a strategic connector—translating channel strategies into clear actions, providing insights for local development initiatives, and troubleshooting emerging challenges. Your responsibilities also include conducting in‑depth performance analyses and designing actionable solutions, such as new initiatives, additional activations, pricing adjustments, or profit‑mix improvements.
You will ensure the flawless execution of promotions and commercial conditions agreed during negotiations, safeguarding consistency across all client activities. By continuously monitoring both Ferrero and competitor pricing, as well as maintaining strong trade relationships, you will build a solid understanding of market dynamics and store‑level realities. Your analysis will support the preparation of accurate client sales forecasts and ongoing monitoring of sales performance to ensure targets are met and opportunities are identified promptly.
A key part of the role is ensuring full alignment between budget deployment and wider business objectives. You will contribute to the forecasting of commercial and structural costs, as well as sales volumes, securing transparent and responsible budget management in line with strategic expectations.
This position requires close collaboration across multiple functions—including Trade Marketing, Category Management, Finance, and Supply Chain—to ensure that channel activation, portfolio choices, and commercial execution are harmonized, targeted, and impactful.
Your Skillset
You bring a solid academic foundation, ideally with a College or University degree in commercial, economic or business studies. Your background includes a deep understanding of the FMCG environment, supported by 4–5 years of hands‑on experience in Key Account Management, specifically related to Out of Home channels (Petrol, Tobacco, OSR, etc.). You communicate confidently in both English and Hungarian and navigate digital tools with ease, demonstrating strong MS Office skills, while SAP knowledge represents an additional advantage.

Your approach is grounded in customer centricity, supported by excellent communication and presentation abilities. You excel in negotiation and analytical thinking, combining structured problem solving with the persistence and organization needed to drive projects forward. Experience in Out of Home advertising or HoReCa environments, a structured project management approach, and exposure to brand marketing are strong assets.
