MANDATORY 5 CRITERIA FOR THE VIE PROGRAM:
- Age: You’re eligible if you are at least 18 years old and under 28 at the time of your application. In all cases, your departure must take place before your 29th birthday.
- Nationality: Although the program is “made in France,” the V.I.E is not limited to French nationals. Good news: all young people who hold the nationality of a country within the European Economic Area (EEA) can apply! Reminder: the EEA includes EU countries as well as Monaco, Liechtenstein, Iceland, and Norway.
- National Service:
- If you are of French nationality or hold dual nationality including French, you must be in compliance with national service obligations.
- For French citizens under 25, this means providing your defense identification number, which confirms you have been registered and have participated in the “Journée Défense et Citoyenneté” (Defense and Citizenship Day).
- If you are over 25, you do not need to provide this number.
- If you are a citizen of an EEA country, you must be in good standing with the national service obligations of your country of origin.
- Criminal Record: To be eligible for the V.I.E program, your criminal record (bulletin no. 2) must not contain any entries that are incompatible with the mission.
- Medical Fitness: You must be declared medically fit to carry out the mission. A medical certificate will be required to confirm this.
Important: If you have already completed a V.I.E or V.I.A mission, you cannot apply again.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Junior Customer Trade Marketing Manager, you will report to a member of our trade marketing team and provide support to the rest of the team. If you’re comfortable with numbers and want to be part of a sales-oriented environment, this role is for you. Depending on your experience, performance, and the evolution of the role, you will gradually take on more responsibilities. As monitor and analyze promotional activities by preparing upcoming promotions in internal tools, assessing sales uplifts, tracking promotional costs, and conducting post-promotion evaluations. Track the performance of brands and innovations through sales analysis and key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to support business growth. Develop and deliver analytical and recommendation-based presentations for both internal stakeholders and external customers. Contribute to the development of medium- and long-term customer plans by supporting business analyses, formulating recommendations, and preparing strategic presentations to drive customer and category development.
About You:
You hold a master’s degree in business or engineering and have a genuine passion for FMCG industry. You possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and are able to interact effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and various partners. Organized, self-motivated, and open-minded, you know how to manage your priorities, solve problems proactively, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You are comfortable with numbers, possess strong analytical skills, and have a keen eye for detail. Excellent proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and PowerPoint is essential. Knowledge of Nielsen tools and prior marketing experience are a plus. You are fluent in French and English, and knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
