About the Role:
As the Sales Forecast Manager for the Netherlands, you will play a key role in ensuring the precise planning of product flows to our customers.
The role will professionally report to the Demand Planner Manager Benelux and managerially to the Trade Marketing Leader Netherlands
Main Responsibilities:
In this position, your primary responsibility will involve crafting the annual sales forecast by analyzing data and figures from previous fiscal years, while also monitoring and refining it on both yearly and weekly bases.
Your role requires you to make necessary adjustments based on weekly and monthly analyses, drawing insights largely from sales data. A crucial aspect of your position will be to provide valuable inputs that contribute to custom and budget volumes, aligning closely with our strategic customer plans.
Working closely with the Demand Planner Benelux, you will ensure that reporting is accurately managed and delivered to Key Account Managers (KAM) and senior sales leaders.
Maintaining a continuous analysis of the sales forecast against initial plans will help you provide a comprehensive overview, assisting in aligning our projections with business realities.
In addition, you’ll support KAMs in planning volumes for promotional and seasonal items, organizing regular updates to facilitate clear communication.
Your responsibilities will also extend to participating in cross-functional meetings with internal stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Trade Marketing, Marketing Senior Management, and Supply Chain Planning.
A proactive approach in identifying risks and opportunities will allow you to drive improvements in planning accuracy and add value to the forecasting process.
Who we are looking for:
To succeed in this role, you should have a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Supply Chain Management, along with fluency in English and Dutch, with French as an added advantage.
You bring at least five years of experience in a similar role or within the supply chain, ideally as a planner in the FMCG industry.
Strong analytical and numerical skills are essential, along with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with SAP.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a talent for building professional relationships across varying levels and backgrounds within the organization are vital.
This role requires a balance between a strong analytical mindset and a pragmatic, sales-oriented approach.
