About the Role:

As a finance analyst, you will support the Bloomington plant by preparing and reviewing the reporting and cost tracking associated with production (direct and indirect), supply chain, and overheads.  You will work cross functionally with all departments to support business decisions and financial analysis. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze reporting on production costs (labor, materials, indirect costs), destructions, overheads, and supply chain  
  • Month end closing process: prepare financial analysis and accrusals, investigate and follow up on variances, ensure completeness and reliability of financial data
  • Manage utilities: process invoices and post in SAP 
  • Review and maintain fixed asset tables - physical tagging is required
  • Serve as liaison with operations by attending daily and weekly meetings on the production floor
  • Take part in budgeting and forecasting process: work with cross functional team to ensure inputs are received for budget/forecast; participate in the budget/forecast preparation
  • Support finance team as needed (cross-training, vacation coverage, etc.)
  • Ad-hoc tasks as assigned 

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field 
  • 1-3 years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience with focus in industrial setting
  • Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO modules) is a strong asset
  • Ability to set and achieve goals; initiative to complete and follow up on projects until completion 
  • Ability to work independently and in team setting
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively to all levels of the organization
