About the Role:
You have always loved it, now be part of it! Ferrero USA is seeking a visionary and dynamic Vice President to lead our Walmart Channel. This is a unique opportunity to drive significant business impact at Walmart. As the VP, you will spearhead our strategy to become a top 3 manufacturer in every category we participate in. Your leadership will be crucial in developing and executing innovative strategies, fostering high-level customer engagement, and driving global initiatives that align with Ferrero’s growth objectives. You will lead a talented team of 20+ associates, inspiring them to achieve excellence and deliver outstanding results.
This position is hybrid, and based in the Ferrero offices in Bentonville, AK.
Main Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and deliver financial targets and strategy across 17 brands and 12 categories.
- Lead global initiatives with Walmart Inc.
Customer Engagement:
- Present a 3-year strategy to Ferrero CEO multiple times a year.
- Drive sessions on JBPs, T2Ts, and category advocacy.
Team Management:
- Oversee a team of 20+ associates across sales execution, account management, retail, replenishment, supply chain, finance, category & customer management, distributor & broker support, and international.
- Design and drive eCommerce strategy and financial targets, including the addition of omnichannel resources dedicated to the channel and customer.
- Build and direct a high-performing team through capabilities development, organizational agility, diversity development, and coaching/mentoring associates.
Innovation & Growth:
- Lead quarterly innovation sessions, develop robust product pipelines, and conduct joint business planning sessions.
- Develop sales across new categories with innovative products such as bakery, biscuits, and ice cream.
Operational Excellence:
- Lead and develop the Commercial PS3 (3YR Strategic Plan) Net Sales growth plan
- Manage P&L Gross to Net, trade funds, and sales overheads budget.
- Implement GTM plans with internal and third-party agencies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Drive and influence internal and external functions, teams, and customers.
- Collaborate across the Club channel to develop and drive innovation and harmonize tactics/strategies.
Essential Accountabilities:
- Develop processes for sales execution and account management across multiple categories.
- Deliver sales and trade annual targets on legacy/Ferrero Mainstream Chocolate (FMC) businesses.
- Own communication strategy between sales and supply chain for issue resolution and risk mitigation.
- Expand omnichannel business through engagement on sales and digital marketing campaigns.
Who we are looking for:
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years in CPG cross-functional sales, with direct selling experience and knowledge of Walmart Inc.
- Proven success in key/national account management, including leading sales teams.
- Multi-channel CPG experience (e.g., Walmart, Club).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
