Packaging Deployment Specialist

About the Role:

We are currently looking for a Packaging Deployment Specialist to join our dynamic Packaging Development team and play a key role in driving packaging projects across industrial and co‑packing environments. As a Packaging Deployment Specialist, you will contribute to the development, industrialization, and deployment of packaging solutions for our iconic products while enabling efficiency, sustainability, and excellence across our operations.

Working in close collaboration with Category Deploy Managers, Central Packaging teams, you will play a key role in delivering end‑to‑end packaging projects, ensuring robust execution from concept through industrial implementation, supporting business growth, quality, value chain optimization initiatives and sustainability objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

In this position, you will act as a technical and operational partner to the business, driving packaging development and deployment activities for both new and existing products, from concept through industrial deployment, ensuring technical, economic, and operational excellence. 

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading packaging development and industrialization activities for new and existing products, with a strong focus on innovation, design for recycling, plastic reduction, and quality improvement.
  • Evaluating technical and economic feasibility during the industrialization phase, proposing optimized industrial setups for packaging lines based on plant and co‑packing.
  • Defining project objectives, including technical solutions, materials, and technologies, in collaboration with Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Packaging R&D, and external partners.
  • Driving value optimization across the packaging value chain by improving efficiency, reducing complexity and waste, and enhancing recyclability and product protection.
  • Supporting Operations through cost‑saving initiatives, efficiency improvements, quality enhancement, and structured problem solving.
  • Managing packaging line trials, including activation, coordination, execution, and reporting of results and risks.
  • Industrializing de‑risking plans by qualifying alternative materials and suppliers across the packaging supply chain.
  • Analyzing and validating cost estimations to support project decisions from an economic perspective.
  • Defining, documenting, and maintaining packaging specifications and technical documentation (e.g. Devex / SAP) to ensure accurate and effective deployment.
  • Ensuring structured governance, clear communication, and effective information sharing across all stakeholders involved in the projects.
  • Sharing best practices, lessons learned, and technical knowledge across plants, regions, and global Packaging Development teams, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.

About You:

The ideal candidate has a degree in Packaging, Engineering, Design, or a related field and at least 3 years of professional experience in packaging development.

Solid understanding of packaging materials, technologies, structural packaging design, production processes, and supply chain dynamics.

Strong collaboration and communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross‑functional and multicultural teams.

A structured, proactive, and pragmatic approach to project management and problem solving.

This role requires flexibility, mobility, and a good understanding of packaging line design.
Experience in the regional market and knowledge of the local retail environment are required.

Fluency in English, written and spoken, is essential.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive base salary and an annual bonus.

The expected salary range for this position will be communicated to candidates selected for the interview stage, in accordance with the amended Labour Code. The final salary will be determined individually based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, in compliance with applicable legal regulations.
