Plant Operating Planning Manager

About the Role:

We have a current opening for a Plant Operating Planning Manager and are actively reviewing applications.

 

Manages Plant operating planning across all the brands/categories produced in Augusta plant, ensuring scheduling is in place, operative material management (call offs and day-to-day supplier relationship both for Packaging & Raw Materials) and short-term manpower availability. Steers plant industrial planning service directly interacting with all the planning entities (supply planning and demand planning) and local Supply Chain team for the allocated production on the plant.

The Manager will provide leadership and input into the processes of training and the development of a positive team-based environment.  Enforce and promote all company guidelines, policies and good manufacturing practices pertaining to all facets of the business, not limited to and including food safety and health & safety.

To summarize, the responsibilities of the role are the following:

  • To coordinate a team of people with the responsibility to plan the scheduling (short term), guarantee the replenishment of all the packaging and raw materials for the production of the plant
  • To track the Plant performance from Planning standpoint, measuring the Delivery KPI’s and sharing the root causes with the main stakeholders
  • To assure to receive all the components (packaging, raw materials, bulk and semi-finished products) for production (internal and copacking) in the proper quantity and time
  • To guarantee the proper stock level of packaging, semi-finished and raw materials

About You:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 4-7 years experience 
  • People management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Influential & excellent interpersonal skills in relation with senior management & expert business referents
  • Analytical mindset
  • Proactive attitude, high level of autonomy in driving deliverables to execution
  • High standing / authority level
  • MS Office package (mainly in Power Point and Excel)
  • SAP APO, ECC, IBP and BW
  • Production scheduling & Material management processes
  • Local Supply Chain & Plants knowledge
  • Experience in Operations Planning is a plus
