About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team and support our growth agenda for our categories in Greece, Cyprus, and Malta. As a key member of the commercial team, you will:
•    Develop fact-based trade arguments to help us establish strong in-store presence for our brands.
•    Identify sales development opportunities that will enable us grow our market share and the total category sales.
•    Become the “go-to-member” for market share performance interpretation.
•    Deliver regular sales and market share reports, never compromising on accuracy and delivery timings.
 

Main Responsibilities:

 

 

Customer/Channel Planning and Promotion Optimization:

 

- Ensure that our promo plans reflect our commercial priorities through constant alignment with Marketing and Sales.
- Evaluate promotion activities, including actionable learnings and optimization opportunities, based on a combination of store visits, sales data analysis and interpretation of market and competitor trends.
- Highlight realistic category development opportunities that benefit Ferrero, our retailers, and shoppers (e.g. assortment performance, distribution, promotion optimisation etc).

 

 

Business Performance Insights:


- Assess holistic business performance, by synthesizing information from various sources (sales, orders, stock, distributor sales and market data) to provide meaningful performance diagnostics, opportunities, and risks.
- Understand thoroughly business priorities and performance challenges, by acting as a liaison among Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain teams and become the central point for collective team's knowledge.

 

 

Customer and Shopper Insights:


- Develop fact-based arguments that unambiguously justify why our customers should partner with Ferrero to grow their categories.
- Work closely with Marketing to showcase how our brands meet our shopper and consumer needs and incorporate relevant information to trade presentations.

 

 

Reporting and Performance Tracking:


- Together with the Trade Marketing Specialist, act as the owners of all internal information flows and market performance reports, as required by the local and European leadership teams.
- Consider ways to make our reporting flows more efficient, by automating and simplifying the outputs in alignment with continuous business reporting requirements.
 

Who we are looking for:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in business/Marketing/Statistics or any related field.

- Excellent communication skills and fluency both in English and Greek.
- You should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in FMCG, ideally a combination of commercial and insight roles (e.g., trade marketing, category management, business insights).
- You are an expert in delivering rational and fact-based performance insights, which provoke clear actions and are easy to understand by colleagues at all levels.
- You have a commercial mindset and ideally some experience in supporting sales and operations planning.
- You possess advanced analytical skills and expertise in market data analysis (e.g., from IRI/Circana, Nielsen etc). 

- You have a structured approach to problem-solving and you are highly organized and flexible to change your approach when necessary.

- You are a people person and a team player with positive attitude.
