*The VIE is a special contract subject to certain eligibility criteria:
- Be a citizen of the European Union
- Be aged no more than 28.

The controlling department in Arlon is composed of 11 employees divided into 2 teams. As a Junior Industrial Controller, you will be part of the LIC (Local Industrial Controlling) team, which consists of 6 people and is responsible for analyzing OPEX and CAPEX costs. During your VIE, you will be responsible for assisting the team in their daily and occasional tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the team in various controls inherent to the monthly closing
- Help develop new controls to monitor financial performance using tools such as SAP, Essbase
- Assist the LIC team in the monthly analysis of variances between the Target and Actual
- Collaborate with the team to ensure monthly monitoring of risks and opportunities related to production line costs
- Participate in the annual budget and SAF (budget update)
- Support the teams in the calculation and analysis of standard product costs for famous brands such as Schokobons, Raffaello, and Kinder Surprise
Who we are looking for:
- Initial experience in management control, preferably in an industrial environment (including internships or apprenticeships)
- Master degree in finance or business/administration
- Knowledge of financial, operational, and budgetary procedures
- Fluent in French and have a professional level of English (Italian is a plus)
- Proficient in Excel and the Office suite in general
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- You have the ability to communicate with others and you demonstrate team spirit and open-mindedness
