About the Role:

For our Plant located in Luxembourg's border, we are looking for a Supply Chain Industrial Manager on the basis of a fixed-term contract who will report directly to the Benelux Supply Chain Manager. The position is based in the Arlon plant, which is the 5th biggest plant world wide of Ferrero. The main tasks of the Supply Chain Industrial Manager are Warehouse- and Warehouse Network Management, Forwarding Export Management, ensuring 'quality' and 'safety' standards of Ferrero, coordinating internal resources and to be a reliable and experienced point of contact, for all the logistical relationship with internal and external customers.

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for the following services, corresponding to the Supply Chain Industrial management of factory logistics:

Warehouse  Management:

  • Management of internal warehouses (automatic warehouse and raw material warehouse) in coordination with the
  • Warehouse manager;
  • Manage the warehouse according the operational Ferrero quality standard about temperature and rule of FEFO expiring rotation;
  • Understand the logic of the SAP EWM and the middleware automation systems;
  • Participate actively at the SAP ECC project deployment for the full network warehouse;
  • Ensuring the stock alignment intra IT systems and the follow up of the 3 PLS WMS development.

 

Warehouse Network Management:

  • Management for 5 external warehouses and supervise the full network set up, with the help of the function assistant logistic;
  • Ensure the operational execution for the daily standard function of warehouse, Putaway cycle for the flow coming by the other warehouse of the network;
  • Manage the physical stock execution and complete with the picking and packing mission for forwarding request;
  • Manage the Network and Warehouse costs and investments, by developing reliable annual budget and biannual budget reviews and by drawing on a monthly basis all the reporting and tracking files.

 

Forwarding Export Management (primary freight) and national Management (shuttle freight):

  • Management of forwarding operation and customs processes in coordination with the Forwarding Export manager  and with the assistant logistic Warehouse Manager;
  • Ensure the execution of the full forwarding need, based on weekly planning cycle in alignment with the production weekly planning plus daily cycle according the change need due to production change;
  • Manage the internal shuttle movement transportation planning, In coordination with the assistant logistic;
  • Ensure the execution of the full forwarding need for the internal network allocation.

 

  • Ensure proper coordination with the other plant function;
  • Attend at weekly plant planning meeting and at monthly management team meeting;
  • Guarantee and coordinate activations between the SC department and the other plant’s function by continuing integration of different stakeholders;
  • Ensure proper coordination with the internal resources;
  • Deploy weekly Supply chain planning meeting to continuously integrate the different internal services;
  • Continue in utilization of actual internal KPI and PPI and develop actively the internal dashboard for the missing figures to be tracked;
  • Ensuring 'quality' and 'safety' standards of Ferrero and compliance with internal Ferrero procedures (Destruction, inventory, GRC ...);
  • Manage teams: ensure the training and development of people;
  • Organizational management: define the best organizations according to the objectives to achieve and manage the complexities associated with changes;
  • Ensure the consistency of activities between services, raise awareness of risks and opportunities of each teams.
Who we are looking for:

Profile

  • Master degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or related fields;
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar Supply Chain role, preferably within FMCG;
  • Knowledge of incoterms and customs operation for container flows;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the basic SCI-principles and methodologies and working with KPI input;
  • Project management skills;
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach;
  • Strong people and team management skills;
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

IT Skills

  • Full knowledge of the Microsoft office pack, especially Excel and Powerpoint/VBA;
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP EWM system SAP WMS;
  • Principles and methodologies related to the planning SAP ECC and planning transportation SAP LETRA.

Languages

  • Fluent in English;
  • Fluent in French.
