Local Industrial Controlling Manager

 

Your Role:

 

Under the supervision of the Plant Controller, the Local Industrial Controlling Manager will lead the local industrial controlling activities for our plant located in Belgium, in terms of monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and product costing. You and your team will also be the main point of contact for the internal stakeholders for financial analysis acting as a real business partner. You will support the Plant Controller and different teams in case of ad hoc requests, questions and in the preparation of presentations. This Role offers the opportunity to get valuable insights into our organization and it is a solid springboard for further development within our organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with plant teams to develop budgets and forecasts, update rolling forecasts, and communicate industrial costs.
  • Operations Profit & Loss: Conduct routine financial analysis, including sensitivity, cost-benefit, and variance analysis.
  • Month-End Closing: Prepare and present month-end closing activities, variance analysis, and improvement proposals. Manage standard costs and produce weekly and monthly reports.
  • Database Management: Ensure data integrity in reporting systems like Essbase, Hyperion, HFM, Power BI, SAP FI-CO, Kronos, and Scope.
  • Overhead Planning: Work with support functions on overhead budgeting, forecasting, and actual vs. delta analysis.
  • Business Decision Support: Provide financial advice and consultancy to local management, assisting with key financial decisions and ad hoc requests.

 

Who We Are Looking For:

 

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement analysis.
  • Strong database management and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with FMCG industry and production processes.
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Positive, open-minded attitude.
  • Fluency in French and English; any additional language is a plus.
