About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Trade Marketing Specialist who’s ready to take ownership of budget planning, promotional strategy, and performance analysis. In this role, you’ll lead the development and execution of trade marketing activities, ensure compliance with internal processes, and drive results through data-driven decisions. Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in annual budget planning—gathering data, preparing presentations, and defending your proposals in front of key departments. Once the budget is set, your focus will shift to ensuring it’s used wisely, tracking investments across channels and clients, and evaluating their effectiveness.

 

Accuracy and timeliness are key, especially when it comes to submitting reserves for planned activities and managing documentation for distributor compensations. You’ll make sure everything aligns with company policies and procedures, keeping things smooth and compliant.

 

But that’s not all. You’ll also be the driving force behind the creation and approval of the promotional activity calendar, aligning it with both channel and marketing strategies. Once the plan is in motion, you’ll oversee its execution, ensuring every KPI is met and every campaign delivers results.

 

After each activity, your analytical skills will shine as you assess outcomes, present insights to the sales team, and propose improvements. Additionally, you’ll keep a close eye on competitor activity, using your findings to shape strategic responses at the sub-regional and national levels.

Who we are looking for:

Are you someone with strong analytical skills who thrives on working with data? We're seeking a professional who not only understands budgeting and planning but can also confidently present and defend their ideas to key stakeholders. Experience in annual budget planning and budget control is preferable.

 

You should be capable of evaluating the effectiveness of trade marketing investments across channels and clients, while ensuring accurate and timely submission of reserves and documentation in line with internal company procedures. Attention to detail and meeting deadlines are crucial in this role.

 

Experience in implementing promotional plans, tracking KPIs, and conducting post-activity evaluations will be a strong advantage. The ability to present results and suggest improvements is a must.

Additionally, experience in analyzing competitor activity and developing strategic responses at the country or sub-regional level is highly valued.
