About the Role:

Be responsible for initiation and execution Supply Chain projects for improvement operational efficiency, collaboration with key customers, SC cost optimization, Quality and Freshness improvement. Develop and implement processes, procedures and KPIs to improve operational efficiency Supply chain within distribution Ferrero’s products among CEA & CAU Region responsibility. Oversee cross functional work relations that are targeted to resolve issues raised by customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage portfolio of projects to drive service level improvement and operational excellence and development of CEA&CAU Region Commercial Supply Chain;
  • Generate and initiate Supply Chain projects for operational excellence, cost optimization, Quality and Freshness improvement;
  • Support cross functional activities;
  • Generate and develop implementation plans for Commercial SC cost productivity pipeline;
  • Create best practices and implement H&S Supply Chain program;
  • Partner with key stakeholders of Sales Team, Finance and Supply Chain to design and implement effective operational solutions;
  • Oversee cross functional work relations that are targeted to resolve issues raised by customers;
  • Development of existing suppliers, negotiate contractual terms in order to provide the optimal quality-price conditions;
  • Search for potential suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions, entering agreements to ensure that current and future 3PL WH and transport needs are met;
  • Cost optimization, suppliers’ efficiency and performance levels monitoring;
  • Monitoring and improving of key Commercial SC KPI’s;
  • Ensure that the quality of services received is in line with corporate standards;
  • Collect and analyze on the regular basis the information on the suppliers' performance level, efficiency, actual costs vs budget analysis;
  • Statistical data on cost and product movements;
  • Managing people assigned, ensuring a management system based on Group values, motivation, competence development and empowerment

Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Logistics in Major FMCG company or Logistics provider
  • Personal initiative and sense of responsibility is a must
  • Good communication and analytical skills, punctuality and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure, result-oriented, pro-active
  • Excellent knowledge of CEA&CAU Region transportation market (Trucks, LTL, Rail/Road), 3PL WH providers, Customs and Certification.
  • Knowledge of a Forwarding/Shipping and Warehouse environment or a major FMCG environment, but with good direct links to transport companies
  • Relevant experience in People Leadership of a diverse team;
