Procurement Analyst

Join our dynamic UK & Ireland Procurement team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of procurement activities across the Thorntons, Ferrero and Eat Natural brands.

You’ll work closely with raw material and packaging Buyers to help ensure continuity of supply, supporting informed decision-making by providing accurate data on suppliers, spend, pricing, lead times and payment terms. Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure the right quality, at the right place, at the right time and at the right cost in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll support Buyers with the operational execution of sourcing activities for raw materials and packaging, ensuring alignment with both group and local sourcing strategies. You’ll assist with the preparation of RFQs, support the analysis of supplier responses and track price variances, providing accurate and timely data to support budgeting, forecasting and cost control activities. You’ll also support supplier performance management, focusing on quality, timeliness, cost and service, and help communicate performance issues across internal stakeholders.

You’ll support compliance with purchasing policies and group audit requirements, assisting with internal assessments, documentation and the resolution of non-conformances. You will help administer contracts, SLAs and purchase orders, working closely with Buyers to support supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery.

The role also includes key administrative activities such as PO management, supplier claims, invoice holds, aged stock clearance and tracking write-off budgets for stock held at suppliers. You will support daily operational requirements, confirm volumes and prices, and maintain accurate records within SAP or equivalent ERP systems.

About You:

We are looking for candidates with experience in a procurement, buying or supply chain support role, ideally with exposure to raw materials and packaging.

You should be comfortable working with data, supporting budget tracking, cost analysis and supplier performance reporting.

Experience supporting RFQs, supplier evaluations and purchase administration is important, along with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Experience within the FMCG or manufacturing sector is a plus, along with familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.
