About the Role:

For our Plant in Alba, we are currently looking for a Utilities Project Engineer who will join the Maintenance Department.

By covering this position, you will have the objective to manage the investments related to the new installations and revamping of the existing ones in the Alba Plant.

Main Responsibilities:

As Utilities Project Engineer, you will lead the technical design and propose design solutions for Utilities projects by writing technical specifications and coordinating design activities. You will manage the internal design and implementation team for projects related to Plant Utilities.

During the tendering phase, your responsibilities will be support purchasing by leading the technical aspects and aligning suppliers and contractors. You will also supervise site construction activities, managing technical details and coordinating vendor activities.

Leading cost management, timelines, and quality standards at each stage of the project, supporting the Project Manager in integrating overall reports and status updates will be some of your key tasks, in addition to preparing and conducting weekly meetings with internal teams and external vendors to plan and track deliverables.

You will create, submit, and track relevant technical documentation to ensure all projects meet quality standards and will provide equipment specifications and technical support to procurement and other business partners to find the best technical solutions.

Last but not least, you will work closely with Health & Safety, Maintenance, Quality, Sustainability, and Production teams from project start to go-live. You will assess and communicate project status, driving escalations on potential risks and delays across multiple teams and leadership.

Who we are looking for:

You will bring you Master’s Degree in Engineering or related fields, united with your strong methodological background that enables you to work effectively in a flexible environment and on multiple tasks, and 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role and environment.

Proven technical leadership and project engineering experience in the development and implementation of complex utility projects will be an asset for this position, along with your problem solving attitude and ability to interact with different functions (Technical Sourcing, Quality, Maintenance, etc.).

Leadership skills and a good knowledge of both Italian and English will be essential in this role.
