Supply Chain - Curricular Internship
Job Location: Alba
About the Role:
We are currently looking for three Curricular Interns (six-months) to join our Supply Chain Department in Alba, within the areas of Customer Service, Master Data, and Demand Planning. During your internship, you will support our teams in managing and optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring the right balance between service level, efficiency, and data accuracy.
This experience will allow you to develop both your analytical and interpersonal skills, gaining a deep understanding of the end-to-end supply chain within an international FMCG environment. You will collaborate closely with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Logistics, and Production Planning, contributing to the achievement of Ferrero’s operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities:
Depending on your assignment, you will support one of the following teams:
In Customer Service, you will focus on managing the replenishment processes of our customers’ warehouses, ensuring deliveries are organized efficiently and service levels are maintained. You will monitor stock levels, analyze KPIs, and collaborate closely with the Key Account Managers. This role will give you the opportunity to combine your analytical mindset with strong relational skills, as you will interact daily with clients to build trust and provide excellent service. You will act as the link between the commercial and logistics sides of the business — the “best of both worlds” within the Supply Chain.
In Master Data, you will support the management of Customer Master Data, including the creation, approval, and update of customer records. You will ensure data integrity and alignment across systems, working closely with Sales, Area Managers, and Regional Heads. This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, as you will often collaborate with commercial teams who operate in fast-paced environments.
In Demand Planning, you will assist in the analysis and forecasting of customer demand, supporting the S&OP process and the alignment between Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain. You will collect and analyze data to refine forecasts, monitor KPIs, and contribute to improving forecast accuracy and service levels. This role is ideal if you have a strong analytical mindset, a sense for numbers, and a passion for data-driven decision making — a perfect match for students with a background in Management or Industrial Engineering.
Throughout your internship, you will take part in continuous improvement projects, gain cross-functional exposure, and actively contribute to initiatives aimed at optimizing performance and processes.
About You:
You are about to obtain a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field, passionate about Supply Chain management and eager to gain practical experience in an international environment. You bring a balance of analytical ability and interpersonal sensitivity, adapting easily to different contexts and challenges.
You have strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), good knowledge of MS Office tools, and fluency in English and Italian. You are curious, proactive, and ready to learn from day one.
You will bring your teamwork spirit, your precision, and your desire to make a difference — whether through client relationships, data accuracy, or forecasting insights. In return, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Ferrero’s most strategic business areas.
