About the Role:

Increase the knowledge on raw materials in order to develop the quality on semifinished and finished products thanks to internal and external data.
Support & managing R&D projects linked to raw materials.
Improve the specifications according to Ferrero standard, pre-requisites and regulatory standard.
Guarantee analysis and studies about all raw materials through experimental testing.
This role requires a balance between scientific rigor and the ability to provide agile solutions to meet business/product developer’s needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Increase the knowledge on raw materials in order to develop the quality on semifinished and finished products thanks to internal and external data.
  • Carry out laboratory analyzes with a structured working group;
  • Collaborate with the internal working group and stakeholders for constant raw material improving;
  • Critical analysis of the results to highlight quality performance of raw materials;
  • Drive processing instructions and procedures based on raw materials quality performance;
  • Support & managing R&D projects linked to raw materials;
  • Draft documentation and track them in company databases;
  • Define and update the technical documentation of RMs to be used for internal purposes;
  • Supports the process of RMs provision to have the availability of all necessary materials to do the trial defined and required.

Who we are looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Agri-food science and technology related major;
  • max 2 years of experience is required;
  • Basic of Project management and statistical analysis for scientific research activities;
  • Knowledgeable about quality and food safety standards;
  • Problem-solving skills focus leading to a continuous improvement;
  • Ability to work independently and with others in an interdisciplinary focused environment;
  • Solid organizational skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a proactive and timely manner;
  • Ability to generate positive relationships in a team environment;
  • Good communication skills, including strong writing and presentation skills;
  • Maximum availability for travelling.
  • Languages: fluent in Italian & English.
  • IT Skills: MS Office - Statistical software (basic of R preferred)
