One of your responsibilities will be to collaborate with the toy partners during the industrial project development of the new projects (e.g. mould design, material usage, etc) and find the most cost and process effective solution for the toy manufacturing process.
We follow a strict Work Breakdown Structure (or WBS) and commit to deliver a project within a predefined timeframe. Being an organized and efficient person, the Engineer Manager will rely on you to ensure a smooth follow up of all ongoing projects with our toy partners. Our Engineering team counts 3 people for a total of +120 projects on a yearly basis (new and reuse projects).
You will have the opportunity to travel inside Italy (northern Italy, by car) and abroad (Romania, Bulgaria or Moldova) to visit external mould makers and external toy partners with plastic injection facilities.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring your Master's Degree in Mechanical/Materials Engineering or equivalent and your proven experience working as a mechanical engineer, toolmaker, or mould designer within the areas of plastics or moulding.
You will contribute to the success of the team thanks to your expertise in injection moulding. Your end-to-end perspective creating high quality and cost effective moulds, as well as your experience using 3D CAD system will be key to perform the role at best.
Your open communication attitude, collaboration skills and your international mobility will be a great asset for us, together with your true passion for our products.
Your dynamic, flexible and positive attitude, proactive approach and your attention to details will help you bring the team to success.
Your fluency in both Italian and English will be key to perform in our environment.
How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do. So, to be successful at Ferrero, you’ll need to be just as consumer and product centric as we are - dedicated to crafting brilliant results for consumers around the world.
Strong analytical mind, attention to details on one hand, and ability to cooperate with employees at all levels and great organisational skills on the other, would be key to success. Employee contribution and engagement at Ferrero is based on the individual, team and organisation dimension, so you should have the ability to work independently, as a part of the team and build good relations with stakeholders at all levels. Being flexible and dealing with a dynamic working environment as well as the ability to embed new knowledge and skills in existing competencies will definitely help you to become high performer here.
