Plant Operating Planning Specialist - Material Planner

About the Role:

We are looking for a brilliant Raw Material Planner for our vacancy as Plant Operating Planning Specialist, who will be based in Alba (CN). 
In this position, you will fulfill production requests from the markets and Category Planning. You will be responsible for delivering service level results for the products in your area of responsibility as well as cost results depending on the planning activities of third parties. You will be a reference point for the development activities, improvements area related to planning both from the production side as well as from the market side.

Main Responsibilities:

As Plant Operating Planning Specialist - Material Planner, your main responsibility will involve defining the best replenishment strategy for Raw Materials and Semifinished goods, ensuring continuous material availability to support the production plan.

You will be accountable for creating and maintaining Short and Mid-Term material plans in alignment with Production Requirements, Suppliers’ Capacities, and Logistics Constraints.

You will monitor material coverage and take proactive actions to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and consistency of master data and planning parameters, collaborating closely with Procurement, Production, Quality and Central Material Management to secure reliable supply performances.

You will also support the materials flows, minimizing obsolescence and ensuring proper alignment with production changes.

Finally, you will monitor and analyze KPI such as Supplier OTIF and Destructions (reduction and mitigation actions), with the goal of enhancing supply reliability and driving continuous improvement.

About You:

If you are a junior professional with about 2 years of experience in material planning or similar activities this might be the right opportunity for you! 
From your side, you will bring your Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Management or Industrial Engineering and Economics and your proficiency in both Italian and English languages, that will enhance your communication and interpersonal skills. 
Your organiational and strong analytical skills, combined with your ability to use Excel, SAP and other tools, will be a key asset to us, as will your attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
