Labor Relations & Welfare Business Partner
About the Role:
We are looking for a Labor Relations & Welfare Manager who will be responsible for improving relations between workers, union representatives, and management by discussing topics, and analyzing and resolving situations directly.
In this role, you will lead the management of labor relations and HR administration, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. In this position, you will act as a trusted partner to Line Managers, supporting communication strategies and promoting dialogue with trade unions and local institutions. You will coordinate welfare initiatives, manage critical employee situations, and guarantee adherence to safety standards. Your contribution will strengthen social dialogue at both local and European levels, ensuring that agreements and policies are implemented effectively and aligned with Ferrero Group values.
Main Responsibilities:
You will guarantee timely and accurate fulfillment of HR administration and labor regulations requirements. In this regard, you will build and maintain strong relationships with trade unions, labor councils, and local authorities, defining policies that facilitate constructive dialogue. You will also support Line Managers in planning and structuring communication processes and organize activities that promote employee engagement and wellbeing.
Covering this role, you will manage collective bargaining processes, contributing to the preparation and execution of negotiations and ensuring compliance throughout. Moreover, you will oversee the implementation of agreements, define action plans, and communicate outcomes to internal stakeholders. You will assist the European Works Council Chair in coordinating meetings, training initiatives, and institutional presentations, while promoting collaboration across countries.
Lastly, you will design and manage welfare programs to improve employee wellbeing and handle sensitive cases requiring conciliation procedures.
In addition to that, you will lead a team of 2 social workers, ensuring motivation, development, and alignment with Group values.
About You:
You bring your Master’s Degree and at least 10 years of solid experience in labor relations, labor law and negotiation within complex organizations.
You will contribute with your exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communication, being able to work within a team. Moreover, you have a proactive, dynamic approach that you adopt to work effectively under pressure, also handling confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.
Your fluency in both Italian and English will be key to relate with the whole organization and essential for your future international mobility.
