Junior Product Technical Performance Manager Biscuits - Maternity Leave Replacement
About the Role:
We are happy to share that we are currently looking for a talented candidate to join our Biscuits R&D Technical Department team in Alba for a maternity leave substitution!
Main Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for monitoring raw material quality to ensure that all finished products consistently meet our expectations. You will play a key role in maintaining stable organoleptic characteristics such as taste and texture, managing the key technological parameters of the products. Part of your role will be to collaborate closely with Local Technologists to ensure product quality is always up to date and to foster the sharing of best practices across teams.
You will be supporting the team in keeping all product specifications updated, including doses and technical documentation, while contributing to the continuous improvement of existing processes in terms of quality, technology, and costs. In this position, you will have the opportunity to act as a reference point for several stakeholders, including Engineering, Plant Technologists, Quality Department, Raw & Pack Materials...
You will work in close cooperation with laboratories and project managers, as well as with other R&D Technical Department for aspects related to Nutella and Kinder products. Your responsibilities will also include organizing and following trials for alternative raw material suppliers, overseeing chemical analyses and accompanying the process through to the end of each project.
About You:
You will bring your Master's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent and short experience in food companies, ideally in R&D, quality or operations positions.
You have knowledge of Chemical, Microbiologist, Sensory and Nutritional Analysis, as well as knowledge of food industry processes, raw materials and industrial processes.
You are available for frequent travel in Italy and abroad, you are fluent in English and comfortable using digital tools.
Your passion for our products, consumers and category and your strong result-oriented attitude, problem-solving skills and attention to details will be key to perform the role at best.
