About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Solution Designer & Tester - Applications Operations to join our IT Applications Operations team. You will report to the Applications Operations Manager. You will be responsible to support the design, implementation and management of the tools and procedures adopted for managing the lifecycle of applications from adoption to retirement.
Your role will be critical in ensuring that applications are developed, maintained, and retired in a structured and efficient manner, aligning with best practices and industry standards.
You will work in a company adopting a wide range of applications and technologies, strongly focused on SAP ABAP, SAP S/4, SAP Cloud Solutions, SNOW and several different cloud/on premise/mobile applications.

Main Responsibilities:

You will design, implement and improve comprehensive tools and frameworks for managing the lifecycle of applications.
You will identify and mitigate risks associated with application lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
You will ensure that procedures are in place, to enable development in adherence to architectural principles, coding standards and best practices.
Furthermore, you will implement and manage pipelines to automate and streamline the development, testing and deployment processes of applications and setup scalable procedures to support the concurrent developments, as required in complex IT systems, considering constraints related to the available environments to develop and test the provided solutions.
You will maintain comprehensive documentation of ALM processes, architectures and related rationale. 
You will continuously explore and evaluate new technologies, tools and methodologies to enhance ALM processes and improve application quality, performance, reliability and delivery time.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional teams and project managers, to ensure alignment and seamless integration of ALM processes.
You will work within a motivated, international team and will collaborate with other IT Teams providing guidelines and support for ALM topics.

Who we are looking for:

You are a graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or professional qualification in area of IT. 
You have proven experience (3+ years) as an ALM Solution Designer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of application development, deployment and maintenance (on premise, cloud and mobile applications).
You are proficient in ALM practices, tools and platforms and have knowledge of key IT and Project Management Frameworks (ITIL, PMP/PRINCE2).
You have strong analytical skills, structured approach and problem solving oriented.
You have excellent verbal, writing and non-verbal skills and are able to manage parallel requests and projects. 
You are able to organize, keep her/his own topics under control and meet deadlines, plan and measure results, create and analyze data.
You have MS Office Suite knowledge and are fluent in written and spoken English.
