About the Role:
We are looking for an IT Project Manager to join our S4 Transformation Program team — one of the Group’s key strategic initiatives. You will lead specific project sub-streams, ensuring successful execution of plans within defined timelines, budgets, and resource constraints. Regular updates to the Project Governance Board and business stakeholders will be part of your responsibilities. This role offers high visibility and collaboration with senior IT and Business leaders, providing strong career development opportunities. When needed, you will also coordinate external consultants to support delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
As IT Project Manager within the S4 Transformation Program, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of your assigned project streams. This begins with developing detailed project plans that reflect the scope, objectives, and strategic approach of the program. You will define specific activities, timelines, responsibilities, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business priorities and resource availability. These plans will be regularly discussed and refined in collaboration with business project leaders to maintain transparency and shared ownership.
During the development phase, you will coordinate multiple project streams, ensuring that each team adheres to the defined plan and that interdependencies are managed effectively. You will engage subject matter experts when needed to support technical and functional decisions, and foster the transfer of best practices across teams to enhance efficiency and consistency. A key part of your role will be facilitating change management activities, helping teams transition from project mode to sustainable operational processes.
You will monitor progress closely, tracking deliverables, timelines, and resource usage. You’ll assess the feasibility of project objectives and proactively identify risks or issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on track. Regular updates will be provided to all relevant stakeholders, including the Project Governance Board, ensuring visibility and alignment across the organization.
From a financial and operational standpoint, you will consolidate monthly reporting against budget and project plans, providing clear insights to stakeholders. You will lead the supplier selection process, working closely with Procurement and Legal departments to define contracts that support project goals and compliance requirements. As the project nears completion, you will orchestrate the transition to the RUN organization, ensuring that all processes are stabilized and that service levels are maintained once the solution is live.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in Management Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, and 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role within a multinational company. You should have excellent communication and strategic relationship-building skills, strong project management capabilities, and fluency in English. Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools is essential, along with deep knowledge of SAP ERP systems. Experience in S4 Transformation projects is highly desirable, and a PMP or equivalent certification will be a strong asset.
How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do. So, to be successful at Ferrero, you’ll need to be just as consumer and product centric as we are - dedicated to crafting brilliant results for consumers around the world.
