About the Role:
We are looking for an IT Project Manager who will become part of our group IT Consumer Platform.
As an integral member of the IT Consumer Platform team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape that drives our consumer-focused initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning project deliverables with business goals.
You will be responsible for steering complex, cross-functional projects from conception to completion, ensuring that the team consistently delivers value to both internal and external stakeholders. Your day-to-day will involve orchestrating efforts across technical and business domains, identifying dependencies, and proactively mitigating risks before they can impact project outcomes. Through your leadership, you will foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, encouraging open dialogue and continuous improvement within the team.
As the IT Project Manager you will lead projects related to the Consumers IT Platform, you will coordinate project streams of responsibilities, guaranteeing the correct implementation of the project's plan and different phases, respecting resources, budget, time and scope constraints. Moreover, you will be involved and provide updates to the Project Steering Committee and all relevant stakeholders.
By covering this position, you will directly manage the most important projects in the Consumer Platform such as R&D, Product Innovation, Product Lifecycle management, CRM, PIM, DAM, D2C, ensuring that the agreed solution is deployed according to the available budget and within the given time constraints.
If necessary, you will have to coordinate a pool of external Project Managers.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will develop project plans according to project scope, objectives, and approach. You’ll define key activities, set timelines, assign responsibilities, and identify critical milestones and deliverables. Collaboration will be essential, as you’ll engage with business project leaders to discuss and refine plans as the initiative evolves. You’ll coordinate various project streams to ensure smooth execution across all project phases, involving subject matter experts where necessary and supporting knowledge sharing and best practices between teams. You'll also guide the change management process that enables the transition from project to project.
As the project progresses, you will closely monitor deliverables and schedules, assessing feasibility and recommending proactive solutions to address issues. Keeping stakeholders informed is key—you’ll deliver consistent updates that foster transparency and alignment. Financial oversight is also part of your responsibilities, with monthly consolidation of data against budget and plan to provide clear visibility to everyone involved.
You will have as well to orchestrate the suppliers’ selection process and support Procurement and Legal departments in the contract definition.
Facilitating the required change management to move from project to process will be part of your main responsibility in this role: smooth transition (hand over) to the RUN organization to ensure the proper service level once the project is live.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring your university degree background in Management Engineering, Information technology, Computer Science, Economics or similar and 8-10 years of experience.
Ideally, you have experience in a similar role/function of a multinational Company.
Being an excellent communicator with strategic and interpersonal skills, you will conduct and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to assure business continuity throughout the projects’ lifecycle.
You bring strong Project management Skills, knowledge of Agile Methodology and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, negotiation, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated skills on Risk Management and mitigation actions are key to guarantee the business continuity and being successful in this role.
You are fluent in English and Italian and are proficient MS Office and Collaboration and have a strong knowledge as a user in SAP based solutions.
Having a PMP or equivalent Certification will be a strong asset.
