IT Modern Workplace Specialist

About the Role:

We are looking for an IT Modern Workplace Specialist who will join the IT Department and become part of our global End User Computing team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, managing and continuously improving our digital workplace, ensuring that our global fleet of devices is secure, compliant, up to date, and performing at its best.

Reporting to the Head of End User Computing Workplace Engineering & Standards, you will act as a technical reference for modern endpoint management, bridging classic on premises solutions with modern, cloud based workplace technologies. You will work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to translate business needs into scalable and secure endpoint solutions.

The position is based in our Alba offices, with flexibility for remote work up to two days per week.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and continuously improving the global modern workplace environment, with a strong focus on endpoint management, automation and security within the Microsoft ecosystem.

You will administer and optimize the client infrastructure using Microsoft Intune and MECM / SCCM, ensuring device compliance, standardization and security across the enterprise. You will design, package and deploy software applications and updates, leveraging standardized deployment frameworks and automation tools to ensure reliable and efficient rollouts.

A key aspect of the role will be to develop and maintain sophisticated PowerShell scripts to automate deployments, configurations, and repetitive tasks.

You will manage configuration profiles, compliance policies and conditional access within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, working closely with security, infrastructure and workplace teams to align endpoint solutions with corporate standards. Your scope will include modern workplace technologies such as Azure AD, Autopilot and Co Management, supporting the evolution towards cloud based and device centric operating models.

You will collaborate with external service providers and Managed Service Providers, translating business and technical requirements into actionable tasks, monitoring execution and ensuring quality of delivery. You will also act as 3rd level support for complex client side issues and security-related incidents, performing root cause analysis and contributing to sustainable remediation solutions.

Finally, you will interact with teams for specialized client solutions maintaining Operational Technology (OT) environments, ensuring high availability, security and reliability. You will actively contribute to the future evolution of the workplace, supporting initiatives such as Device as a Service and cloud based workplace solutions, including managed Cloud PC models.

About You:

You hold a master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, and you have gained experience in endpoint management or similar roles, with a focus on Windows 11 Enterprise environments and endpoint security features.

You bring technical knowledge of Microsoft Intune and SCCM, combined with hands‑on PowerShell scripting skills that allow you to support automation activities and solve technical issues at scale. You are familiar with modern workplace technologies and concepts, including Azure AD (Entra ID), Autopilot and co‑management approaches.

You are fluent in English and feel comfortable working in international environments.
