About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and visionary IT Architect to join our global Center of Excellence for Consumer technology. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of state-of-the-art global Consumer Engagement Platforms, Consumer Data Platforms (CDP), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, ensuring scalable and future-proof solutions for our global operations.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will architect end-to-end solutions for applications, including frontend, backend, middleware, and infrastructure components, as well as data migration and integration scenarios and ensure that future country rollouts and global expansions adhere to best practices and enterprise architecture principles, while also managing the decommissioning of legacy applications.
You stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and recommend innovations to drive future growth and drive cloud computing strategies (preferably on AWS).
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - including Marketing, Media, IT, Data Science, and external vendors - to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives and engage with regional business units to translate their needs into technical designs that balance local requirements with the global strategic goals of the organization.
You will ensure seamless end-to-end integration between platforms such as CRM, CDP, and Marketing Automation tools, delivering unified, data-driven consumer experiences across all channels.
You will support the Demand Manager by providing technical expertise for incoming business requests, playing a key role in technical feasibility analysis and guiding business stakeholders.
You will oversee the development of architecture documentation, including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications, ensuring all platforms meet internal and external compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
You will drive continuous improvement of consumer engagement platforms by leveraging analytics and feedback from global teams.
You will coordinate external stakeholders, such as System Integrators and consultants, to ensure collaborative and effective solutions that seamlessly integrate into the Ferrero IT ecosystem.
Who we are looking for:
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
You have at least 6+ years of previous experience in IT architecture roles, focusing on Consumer Engagement, Consumer Data Platforms (CDP), and CRM systems.
You have strong expertise in SAP CX (e.g.,SAP CDC, SAP CDP, SAP Emarsys) and expertise in web technologies such as Java, PHP, HTML5, JavaScript (JS), and CSS.
You bring experience with integration technologies (SAP CPI), API management, and data migration strategies and are familiar with Drupal CMS or similar platforms, as well as the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines.
You have strong knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and integration patterns and a strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (preferably AWS), with experience in SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS solutions.
You have experience in people management and will contribute to the success of the team thanks to your proactive problem-solving skills, a high level of resilience and goal orientation in a fast-paced global environment as well as strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and are able to present technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
You are fluent in English and Italian.
