About the role
We are currently looking for a talented candidate in the Procurement Department as General Procurement Buyer for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.
Main Tasks
CATEGORY MANAGEMENT and ECOSYSTEM MANAGEMENT
- Put in place category strategies, defined by Group and Local Category manager, for efficient sourcing to meet the business partner demand
- Conduct local market analysis
- Manage cross-functional projects (sourcing, tender process, negotiation, contract), in close partnership with main Business functions
- Achieve economic and/or qualitative targets for each project
- Track sourcing event baseline and efficiencies (savings)
- Apply and follow relevant policies and procedures to pursue the category strategy consistently complying with the Group framework and guidelines
SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT and RISK MANAGEMENT
- Work collaboratively with ecosystem partners to manage supplier relationships and maximize sustainable value generation
- Monitor and assess suppliers and supply performance together with main Business functions, according to cost criteria, service quality, reliability, market benchmark, financial risk, reputation, etc
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT and NEGOTIATION
- Define, in collaboration with Business and Legal support, contract terms to reduce and mitigate financial and legal risk
- Prepare with business partner analysis and scenarios to support negotiation
- Manage contracts negotiation, administration and contract lifecycle
- Reflect category strategy into contracts (KPIs and SLAs)
- Monitor contract KPIs and special conditions
Who we are looking for
- Graduate, preferably in Engineering or Business Management
- Previous experience in Procurement (especially Indirect Procurement) is a plus
- Dynamic and proactive person with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- A person able to work effectively in a fast-paced and international environment
- A professional able to prioritize issues and deploy corrective actions
- Knowledgeable about Microsoft Office, Procurement platforms
- Fluent in English and in Italian
