Food Safety & Quality Raw Material Intern

About the Role:

As Food Safety & Quality Raw Material Intern, you will join the Group FSQ Raw Material team, a global function committed to ensuring the safety, quality and compliance of raw materials across our international network.

The curricular internship will last six months and will be based in our Alba offices, where you will work closely with Raw Material Subject Matter Experts.

Throughout this experience, you will have the opportunity to learn how global food safety systems operate and how quality standards shape documentation and processes. This internship will also give you exposure to raw material risk assessment, analytical control plans and cross functional quality workflows, while collaborating with colleagues from different countries.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support the team in designing and revising policies, procedures and work instructions related to the raw materials assigned to the FSQ Raw Material function. You will contribute to building and maintaining the official archive of supplier FSQ requirements, ensuring that all documents signed by suppliers are properly collected, organized and kept up to date.

You will help manage data extraction and analysis for FSQ raw material activities, supporting the preparation of reports and contributing to the accuracy and completeness of the information shared across the team. As part of your involvement in internal documentation, you will assist in the development, improvement and update of internal models and processes, working alongside the responsible experts to ensure that activities are carried out effectively.

Your role will also include supporting the verification of active raw material codes, contributing to master data revisions and helping with the systematic cleanup of codes to improve consistency and reliability across systems. Through these activities, you will play an active part in maintaining and enhancing the overall quality framework applied to raw materials within the Group.

About You:

You are enrolled in a master’s degree program such as Food Technology, Biology or another related scientific field, with a focus on Food Hygiene, Food Safety and Risk Management. You are curious about how food safety and quality systems work and eager to build skills in documentation management, processes and risk assessment.

You have a good command of English, enjoy collaborating with others and are proactive and open to learning.

If you are ready to grow within a global Food Safety & Quality environment and contribute to the development of raw material documentation and processes, we would be happy to receive your application. Join us and take your first step into an international quality system that drives continuous improvement across our network.
