1st Assignment: Demand Planning Specialist

Within the S&OP teams, you will be responsible for demand forecasting for a dedicated product portfolio over a 0 to 24-month horizon. You will play a key role in coordinating between the Supply Chain and business teams.

You will manage forecasting cycles, ensuring consistency with commercial, trade marketing, and marketing strategies. Your role includes collecting and consolidating sales forecasts for relevant categories and communicating them to the Supply Planning team.

You will gather client-related insights that impact short-term sales trends (such as promotional activities, stockpiling, order stops, and listing) and use this information to build short- and medium-term forecasts. These forecasts will combine statistical models with qualitative inputs from cross-functional teams.

You will actively contribute to innovation launches by co-developing forecasts with trade marketing and marketing teams. Additionally, you will analyze gaps between forecasts, budgets, and previous year performance, providing actionable insights for planning phases (BUDGET / SAF).

Monitoring KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy and Bias will be part of your responsibilities, along with proposing improvement plans. Finally, you will help ensure Ferrero’s customer service level in France while minimizing obsolescence risks.

About You:

You will bring your Master’s degree (MSc, 5 years of studies) in Management Engineering or Economics or related field, with an excellent academic record, achieved within maximum 12 months.
As a great communicator, fluency in English and Italian will be essential to cover this position, along with a good foundation in French. Proficiency in MS Office tools and experience with a statistical forecasting tool will also be highly valued.
Your great passion and interest in the food industry, curiosity, openness and intercultural competence, together with your committed, logical and process-oriented approach to work, complete your profile.
