Engineering Curricular Internship - Technical Procurement/ Portfolio/ Project Engineer (6 Months)
About the Role:
Are you passionate about how an Engineering Department and Technical Services operate? Join our Engineering team for a 6‑month curricular internship and get involved in real projects alongside our professionals.
This internship will give you the opportunity to work in an international and structured environment, gaining hands-on experience and taking your first concrete steps into the industrial world.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Curricular Intern in Engineering, you will support one of the following areas:
- Technical Procurement:
As Technical Procurement Specialist you will assist the team in monitoring project progress and procurement activities, helping to keep objectives, timelines and expectations aligned, contributing to local sourcing activities, contract management and documentation checks
- Portfolio Management:
As Project Portfolio Specialist, you will support the Project Portfolio Management function in ensuring that current and future engineering projects meet business cost and timing objectives. You will contribute to effective resource allocation and activity prioritization across the project portfolio, while proactively monitoring progress and promptly reporting any delays or issues that may impact project execution.
- Project Engineering:
As a Curricular Intern in Project Engineering, you will support the definition of technical requirements and the execution of industrial investment projects, gaining exposure to machinery start‑up activities and technology deployment across plants. You will collaborate with technical and sourcing teams on supplier evaluation, post‑implementation support and the preparation and updating of technical documentation.
About You:
You are currently pursuing your Master’s Degree path in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Management, Automation or related field) with a strong curiosity for how complex production systems operate and evolve.
You bring analytical thinking, adaptability and teamwork skills, with an interest in both process improvement and technological innovation.
Fluency in English and Italian is required, as you’ll collaborate with both local and international teams.
Basic knowledge of data analysis, Lean methodologies or simulation tools will be considered a plus.
This 6-month full-time curricular internship will allow you to experience Engineering innovation in Ferrero and shape the factories of the future.
