About the Role:
At Ferrero, excellence is built every day through passion, precision, and teamwork. We’re currently looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our Administration & Reporting team as a Balance Sheet Specialist. If you have a strong background in accounting and a desire to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing statutory financial statements in compliance with Italian GAAP, ensuring every figure is accurate and meaningful. You’ll also support the preparation of data for the Group’s Consolidated Financial Statements under IAS/IFRS, and manage monthly local figures to be uploaded into the Ferrero Group consolidation system—making the necessary adjustments to align with Group accounting standards.
Your expertise will also contribute to the preparation of income tax returns (IRES and IRAP), working closely with the Italian tax team to ensure compliance and accuracy. You’ll be the go-to person for external auditors and statutory boards, providing all required documentation and managing direct communication with them. Additionally, you’ll handle official data requests from institutions such as Istat, Mediobanca, and the Bank of Italy, and carry out financial analyses to support other internal departments.
Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Business Management and at least five years of experience in accounting or auditing. A solid understanding of IFRS and Italian GAAP is essential, and experience in the FMCG sector will be considered a plus. You should bring a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in MS Office—especially Excel—is a must, and familiarity with SAP S/4Hana and Oracle Cloud EPM will give you an edge. Fluency in Italian is required, along with an upper-intermediate level of English to communicate effectively within the Group.
If you’re ready to take on a dynamic role in a global company that values quality, innovation, and collaboration, we’d love to hear from you.
How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do. So, to be successful at Ferrero, you’ll need to be just as consumer and product centric as we are - dedicated to crafting brilliant results for consumers around the world.
