Area Europe Demand Planning HUB Analyst

About the Role:

For our newly established Area Europe Demand Planning Hub, we are currently looking for a Demand Planning Hub Analyst, based in Alba (Italy), who will report to the Area Europe Demand Planning HUB Manager.  

The Area Demand Planning Hub organization will be crucial for the company’s success, a robust demand planning process will enhance the effectiveness of the overall supply chain, improving customer satisfaction and reducing the operating costs.  

As a Demand Planning Hub Analyst, you will represent the center of statistical forecast expertise in the Europe Area, equipping the key stakeholders with the capabilities required to deploy the Group Blueprint ensuring understanding of Regions’ context and business environment. The Group Blueprint adherence is in accordance with the standards set by Global Demand Planning Centre of Excellence and in alignment with the Operational Excellence initiatives. Equally important, you will be responsible for monitoring Demand Planning Performance and Model Adoption within the Europe Area and execute Demand Planning activities in close collaboration with the Markets.

Main Responsibilities:

Covering this role, you will support the generation of baseline for the Regions’, using statistical tools and drive the adoption in each Region of the Europe Area, ensuring consistent deployment of Global Templates, in alignment with the Operational Excellence initiatives.  

Equally important, you will represent the center of statistical expertise for the Europe Area, equipping the key stakeholders with the capabilities required to deploy the Group Templates as well as develop process standards manuals ensuring understanding of Europe Area context and business environment.  

Furthermore, you will be developing expertise on key drivers and variables impacting the model development by category and type of customer unit, sharing best practices across Regions/Countries.  

Moreover, you will monitor performance and KPIs, ensuring they align smoothly with the Global Centre of Excellence. This role supports defining and cascading related KPIs to regions and serves as the primary contact for demand expertise on monitoring, control, and root cause analysis at the Europe Area level.  

Regarding the Demand Planning Baseline Generation, you will set up statistical forecasts in collaboration with the Area Demand Planning Hub team, the Global COE and Demand Planners in the markets.  

You will also work in collaboration with markets to ensure understanding of the baseline and enable uplift definition as well as demand consolidation and communication with Area outlining main drivers and trend explanations.  

About You:

You will bring your Master’s Degree in any Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain/Statistics/Economics related field and some initial relevant experiences in demand planning, driving demand forecasting with stakeholders.  

Your capability to interact using an advance level of English will enable you to perform your daily activities, combined with your excellent communication and negotiation skills.

What we offer:

The role is classified at Level 1° under the National Collective Agreement for the Food Industry (CCNL Industria Alimentare). The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is €43.249. The compensation package also includes an annual variable component with a target of up to 5% of base salary. The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
