About the Role:

We are currently looking for a talented Plant Food Safety and Quality Manager for our Alba (CN) plant. 

Covering this position, you will implement all the necessary guidelines to manage the overall Food Safety & Quality within the site, according to the policies and procedures defined by Group Food Safety & Quality. 
You will also activate all necessary levers to guarantee and monitor Food Safety & Quality for products, production processes and Supply Chain, aligned with the “New Product Full Mix” standards and by Group Food Safety & Quality, ensuring compliance with all the standards of Food Safety and hygiene in Food industry. 

Main Responsibilities:

Thanks to your role as the Plant Food Safety and Quality Manager, you will ensure efficient management of Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) in manufacturing processes. This involves overseeing raw materials, packaging, and finished products acceptance, with a focus on FSQ aspects. Implementing FSQ plans and improvement initiatives at the plant level while ensuring compliance with central guidelines and legal standards will be your responsibility. You will measure compliance through various processes such as sampling plans, audits, and company information systems, ensuring the effective implementation, maintenance, and application of FSQ guidelines according to Group standards and HACCP methodologies (product excellence, Food Safety, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and similar).
You will run all Food Safety improvement initiatives and risk preventing actions/risk assessments, according to CAPA methods. 
You will also be accountable for monitoring and supervising plant Operations to maintain adherence to established FSQ protocols, intervening as necessary. Ensuring adherence to certifications requirements and facilitating the application of central standards for monitoring products' claims will be part of your duties. Additionally, you will provide support during investigations, controls, and visits by internal and external authorities. 
Your role will encompass ensuring proper technical support to production and accurate collection of industrial FSQ KPIs.
Managing human resources involves coaching and training employees on safety measures and prevention. You will also be the manager of a team of people, fostering our Group values, diversity and inclusion, and competence development. 

Who we are looking for:

You will bring your Scientific Master’s Degree or PhD, preferably in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science/Technology or similar and your minimum 10 years of experience in Quality roles within structured Food Companies
Your leadership, team management, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills will be key for us. Moreover, your international mindset and your ability to interact with different levels of stakeholders, fostering cross-functional collaboration, complete your asset. 

Available to international business trips, you will leverage on your fluent level of English, together with your fluent Italian.
