Packaging Deployment Specialist

About the Role:

We are currently looking for Packaging Deploy Specialist who will be part of the Packaging Department.

Main Responsibilities:

Join our dynamic team as a Packaging Deployment Specialist, where you’ll have the autonomy to drive innovation, development, execution, control and quality for assigned projects. You’ll follow the guidelines set by the Category Deploy manager and central packaging departments, ensuring excellence in every aspect.

In this role, you’ll lead packaging innovation efforts by exploring new materials and technologies, working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, Group Packaging R&D, Categories and Operations. Your participation in project planning will be crucial, as you’ll manage the project development, flow of information, follow up, and communicate project milestones and associated risks.

Supporting Operations and the business in cost savings, efficiency initiatives, and quality investigations will be a continuous effort towards improvement. This involves optimizing the packaging production process through production support, problem-solving, industrialization, and trials management.

Ensuring the creation and upload of packaging documentation, such as technical sheets in Devex/SAP, will be essential to guarantee the correct implementation of packaging projects within your area of responsibility. You’ll understand the needs of different stakeholders in the business, ensuring the development and sharing of knowledge across plants and functions. This will be achieved by exploiting the CVP Program, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

About You:

You should have a Master’s degree in Packaging, Engineering, Design, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of professional experience in packaging development.
You are proficient in using SAP, MS Office, Cape Pack, and CAD-based systems. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as well as solid knowledge of project management and structural packaging design.
This role requires a high degree of flexibility and mobility, as well as a good understanding of packaging line design. Experience in the regional market and a strong grasp of the local retail environment are necessary.
You must be fluent in both Italian and English, written and spoken.
