Mould Management Specialist

About the Role:

Are you passionate about ensuring technical excellence and business continuity in mold manufacturing? As a Mold Management Specialist within our 3D Design Team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and developing Ferrero’s mold assets. Reporting directly to the Mold Manager, you will be responsible for implementing structured maintenance and renewal plans, supporting the development of new molds, and driving the digitalization of mold data. Your work will be essential to Ferrero’s industrial performance and innovation roadmap, ensuring reliable tooling and agile development processes that support the company’s growth.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Mold Management Specialist, you will oversee the scheduled maintenance plan for molds, managing interventions and coordinating both internal and external resources. You will lead the renewal program for obsolete molds, integrating new technologies and automation where possible, and support the development of pilot and industrial molds for new packaging projects. Your responsibilities will include driving the digitalization of mold data and maintenance tracking, ensuring timely and effective problem-solving to minimize production risks, and collaborating closely with Procurement, Packaging Technologists, Quality, Converters, and Mold Makers. You will monitor and forecast spare parts needs, track the progress of maintenance activities and new mold development, and contribute directly to Ferrero’s industrial performance by supporting growth through reliable tooling and agile processes.

About You:

You are a proactive and structured professional with a Maser's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, and experience in technical, production, or maintenance roles. You possess strong technical knowledge of rigid packaging technologies, plastic conversion processes, and mold mechanics, as well as proficiency in 3D modeling and data analysis tools. Your project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills enable you to manage complex stakeholder scenarios and communicate technical content effectively to non-technical audiences. Fluent in English, you thrive in dynamic environments, demonstrate a team-oriented mindset, and are always seeking opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. If you are ready to make a tangible impact on Ferrero’s manufacturing excellence and innovation, we would be delighted to meet you.
