IT Sales Application Specialist

About the Role:

Reporting to the IT CoE Sales Team Leader, the IT Sales Application Specialist will be part of the IT Sales Center of Expertise, supporting the design, configuration, testing and continuous improvement of global Sales applications. Operating at Group level, this role contributes to the evolution and reliability of Sales Force Automation solutions used worldwide by the sales organization. The position sits at the intersection of business and technology, working closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure that Sales applications are scalable, well integrated and aligned with Ferrero’s global IT architecture and business priorities.

In this role, you will be involved in both project based initiatives and ongoing application lifecycle activities, contributing to solution design, system configuration, testing and third level support within a complex, integrated SAP environment.

This position is based in our Alba offices, with flexibility for remote work up to two days per week.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for functional and technical solution design, defining and validating specifications in line with enterprise IT architecture and business requirements. You will support the activation of new services by analysing functional and non functional needs and contributing to the definition of technical architecture options.

Working in close collaboration with internal IT partners, Platform Leaders, Application Architects, Project Managers and external suppliers, you will support and contribute to the execution of IT application projects related to Sales solutions. This includes involvement in major initiatives linked to significant demands or functional evolutions, as well as coordination on smaller scale enhancements, ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines and business priorities. You will also contribute to solution quality assurance, validating functional designs, developments and system configurations.

You will take care of system configuration activities, preparing and deploying configurations while ensuring that inventory, asset and configuration documentation remains up to date. Part of your contribution will be to supervise data migration activities and ensure data consistency across integrated systems, as well as supporting the decommissioning of redundant applications in line with the application roadmap.

Testing is a key component of the role. You will lead or coordinate test preparation and execution for complex applications, defining test plans, creating and executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and supporting troubleshooting activities during testing phases and post production. You will closely interact with project teams throughout the development lifecycle and follow up on issues captured in bug tracking systems.

From a service perspective, you will act as a third level support reference for high priority incidents, working alongside Service Leads and Service Management teams to support the achievement of agreed service level targets and ensure application stability.

About You:

You hold a master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management or a related field, and bring professional experience in IT application roles within complex and structured environments.

You have a solid understanding of SAP Sales solutions, with experience in SAP C4C and SAP S/4HANA Sales implementation projects. You are fluent in English and comfortable working in an international context, supporting global initiatives.

Above all, you bring curiosity, reliability and a hands on attitude, combined with a genuine interest in Sales processes, enterprise applications and global IT environments.

If you are interested in working on global Sales applications within an international IT Center of Expertise, we would be happy to hear from you.
